Having worked on Diabetes Care products for 15 years now I still learned a lot from this book Not least of which is the daily struggle for Type 1 diabetics.

What a great book I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes six months before reading this book and I have had SO many questions This book was helpful and will continue to be helpful in my diabetic journey I highly recommend this book to anyone with diabetes any type , anyone who knows anyone with diabetes, and anyone who is curious diabetes.

I started reading right after Elijah s diagnosis and just felt too overwhelmed emotionally to finish Six months later, I picked it up and found it to be so helpful and practical There s a reason everyone raves about it

Wish I d never needed to read this book, but since our family and T1 now live up close and personal, I am grateful to have this resource I recommend the book to anyone who is affected by T1 in any way.

Am I the only one who found this to be out dated A complete waste of time because I am the diabetic Maybe helpful for parents or spouses.

This book was very informative I appreciated the author s also a diabetic writing style He turned what could have been a very dull medical read into an easy read that was educational and enjoyable I gave it 4 stars because he didn t commit enough space or information to insulin users who are type 2 or who struggle with any level of insulin resistance The basics and are in this book and I would recommend it to any type of diabetic Required reading.

Where has this book been the last two years of my life This book answered questions not even my endocrinologist or nutritionist could answer I have several pages of this book tabbed for reference and since reading it, my blood sugars have been better after utilizing some of his tips A Best 17 I ever spent My defunct and faulty pancreas thanks you.
